Mancala - Offline Board Game

Sow stones around the board and collect more in your store than your opponent. Play Mancala by yourself, or share one phone between two. It works offline and has no sign-in.


■ The score comes first

- When a game ends, the final score and the winner stay on the board. Example: You won - Me 27 : Computer 21.
- One line also says whose store the leftover stones went to.
- The next screen comes only after you tap See result, and it shows the same score again.


■ Which rules?

- These are the Kalah rules: two rows of six pits, 4 stones in each pit.
- If your last stone lands in your own store, you move again.
- If your last stone lands in one of your own pits that was empty and the pit across has stones, you take those stones into your store.
- The game ends when either row is empty. You choose one of two ways to share the leftover stones when you start a game.


■ See why it happened

- After every move, one line under the board says what happened. Example: Computer pit 2: last stone in an empty pit - captured 7.
- When the computer moves several times in a row, each move is shown one at a time with its reason.
- Every pit shows its stone count as a large number. No need to count the stones in the picture.
- Tap a pit you can't play and one line tells you why.


■ Play the computer

- Six levels: Beginner, Easy, Medium, Hard, Expert and Master.
- Choose who goes first: Me, Computer or Random.
- Stuck? Ask for a hint.
- Wins, draws and losses add up by level on the Stats screen.


■ 2 players on one phone

- Put one phone between you and sit face to face.
- The numbers on the top player's side are turned so that player can read them.


■ Easy to play

- Undo has no limit.
- The game is saved after each move, so Resume brings it back after you close the app.
- Tap the board to skip the sowing animation, or turn it off in Settings.
- Sound and vibration can be turned off too.
- The rules open from Home and from the game screen.


■ Privacy

Your games and stats are stored on your phone and are never sent to our servers. If Android backup is on, they are included in your Google account backup, so they can carry over to a new phone.
The internet connection and advertising ID are used only to show ads and send usage statistics, and Google services process device information for this. See the privacy policy for details.
