About Yut Nori - Offline Board Game
Play Yut Nori, the Korean board game, on one phone at family gatherings or on a quiet evening alone. Works offline, no sign-in.
■ 2 to 4 players on one phone
- Pass the phone around. The bar at the top turns the current player's color.
- Each seat can be a person or the computer (Easy, Normal, Hard).
- 2, 3 or 4 pieces each; Back-do on or off.
- Play on after first place to decide every place (or stop at first place in settings).
■ Published odds
- Each of the four sticks is thrown on its own and lands flat side up 60% of the time. The chance of Do, Gae, Geol, Yut, Mo and Back-do is shown in the app.
- The computer throws the same sticks. The odds never change with the score, the player or the level.
- See every throw made on this device next to the published odds, for people and computer seats separately.
- A throw is saved before it is shown. Close and reopen the app and it is the same throw.
■ Play with real sticks
- Throw your own sticks and tap the result. The app moves the pieces and keeps the rules.
■ Classic rules
- Yut or Mo: throw again. Capture a piece: throw again.
- Stack your own pieces, and take the shortcut when you stop on a corner or the center.
- A piece must pass the start to come home. No "nak" (sticks off the mat).
- A Back-do with no piece on the board is skipped, and the app tells you why.
■ Easy to play
- Tap a piece to see where it will land first.
- Undo takes back moves since your last throw. Throws can't be undone.
- Your game is saved as you play. Calls or closing the app won't lose it.
- Save and share a result card with places and throws.
- No time limit.
■ Privacy
Your games and records are never sent to our servers. If Android backup is on, they are included in your Google account backup, so they can carry over to a new phone.
