THE STAMP IS IN THE PICTURE
Date, time, GPS fix and slope name are burnt into a band along the bottom of the frame as the shot is taken, not typed in later. The stamp goes on a copy: the original and its EXIF are never overwritten, and every photo carries its own SHA-256.

PIN THE DAMAGE WHERE YOU SAW IT
Tap a photo, drop a numbered pin, give it a damage type, a severity and a note: hail bruising, granule loss, lifted or creased shingle, missing shingle, nail pop, cracked pipe boot, flashing failure, exposed fasteners, moss, ponding, rusted metal, or your own wording. That table prints under the photo it came from, and markup sits on its own layer, so the ZIP ships originals beside annotated copies.

SKETCH THE FOOTPRINT, GET NAMED SLOPES
Start from a rectangle, an L, a T, a U, or draw the outline. Pick gable, hip or a custom split and the app cuts the roof into named slopes: front, back, left, right or compass points. Drag chimneys, pipe boots, vents, skylights and valleys on. On the summary diagram every slope takes the color of its worst pin.

TEST SQUARES COUNTED, NOT GUESSED
Mark a 10 x 10 ft or 3 x 3 m square, count the hail hits and wind hits inside it, photograph the chalk, and both numbers land in the test-square table. Soft-metal dents are tallied per slope too.

GUTTERS, FASCIA AND SOFFIT, BY ELEVATION
Walk front, right, back and left. Tick separation, sagging, fascia rot, soffit damage, a disconnected downspout, debris or improper pitch, enter the run length, and the elevation will not close until you add the photo. For cleaning proof the viewfinder ghosts the before frame as you frame the after.

STORM DATES FOR THIS ADDRESS
The weather lookup returns hail-bearing days and high-wind days near the coordinates you pinned, and prints the provider, when it was pulled and how far the grid point sits from the pin. It is reanalysis, not a ground hail report, and the screen says so. A date of loss you type in is labeled entered manually, unverified.

SIGN IT AND IT STOPS MOVING
Technician and homeowner sign on the glass; anyone who was not there is recorded as not present. Locking closes the report and stores a hash of its contents.

SET UP AROUND YOUR ROLE
Roofer, independent adjuster, home inspector or public adjuster: the role decides whether the cover sheet asks for a carrier and claim number or an estimate reference.
