InchWise: Feet Inch Calculator

InchWise is a construction calculator built around fractions the way a tape measure actually reads them - 12' 0-1/4", not a decimal you have to convert in your head. Add, subtract, multiply, and divide feet-inch-fraction measurements directly, and get results in the same tape-measure notation you'd mark on a board.

THE CALCULATOR
Every basic operation - addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, unit conversion, and history - always stays included. No button is ever paywalled, and there's no ad to sit through between taps. Internally, every value is stored as an exact fraction rather than a rounding-prone decimal, so a long chain of measurements doesn't drift off by a sixteenth after a dozen steps the way calculator apps built on floating point often do.

EIGHT JOB-SITE CALCULATORS
Beyond the tape-measure calculator, InchWise includes purpose-built tools for stairs, rafters, roofing, stud layout, balusters, concrete volume, squaring a layout, and lumber - each one built around the actual math a specific trade uses on site, not a generic formula. Locked tiles show a sample preview with realistic values before you buy, so you can see exactly what a calculator does before deciding whether you need it.

BUILT FOR HOW YOU ACTUALLY TYPE ON SITE
Fields that expect feet accept a bare number as feet, and the unit stays visible as you type so you're never guessing whether "20" means 20 feet or 20 inches. Fraction quick-keys let you enter common tape fractions - 1/4, 1/8, 1/16 - in one tap instead of hunting for a decimal equivalent.

WORKS WITHOUT SIGNAL
InchWise needs zero network connection for anything it does. Your purchase state is cached on your device, so it works exactly the same in a basement, a job site with no bars, or airplane mode as it does with full signal. No account, no login, and no data leaves your phone.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: Is the basic calculator really included with no button locked?
A: Yes. Addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, unit conversion, and history all work in full for every user, with no paywalled button anywhere in the core calculator.

Q: What does InchWise Pro unlock?
A: Pro is a single one-time purchase that unlocks all 8 job-site calculators - stairs, rafters, roofing, studs, balusters, concrete, squaring, and lumber.

Q: Is this a subscription?
A: No. Pro is a one-time purchase, never a recurring charge, and there's no ad SDK in the app at all.

Q: Can I try a locked calculator before buying Pro?
A: Yes. Tapping a locked tile shows a sample preview with realistic values and a clearly labeled "preview" badge, so you can see how a calculator works before deciding to unlock it.

Q: Does InchWise need an internet connection?
A: No. Every calculation, including Pro features once unlocked, runs entirely on your device. It works the same with full signal, no signal, or in airplane mode.

Q: Will the app ask me to rate it right when I open it?
A: No. There's no onboarding or splash screen asking for a rating - InchWise opens straight to the calculator. Any review prompt only appears after you've purchased Pro and made real use of the app.
