About Annalora: Civilization Story
Annalora is a short narrative strategy game about an entire civilization. You do not play a king or a hero: you guide a people from its first fire to its far future, one dilemma at a time.
A run takes three to five minutes. When it ends, the game writes the history your choices made.
HOW IT PLAYS
• Each turn brings a dilemma with two to four options. None of them is simply the right one.
• Four readings show where your people stand: Means, Bonds, World and Character. Behind them, sixteen hidden values remember everything you set in motion.
• Choices echo. A decision made in the first era can open, or close, what happens three eras later.
• Travel through four eras: Origins, Settling, Transformation and Far Horizon.
THE CHRONICLE
• Every run ends with a chronicle of eight to sixteen entries, written from what you actually decided.
• Your people earn one of seven legacies, from The Full Table to The Bright Cost.
• Each chronicle is kept in the Archive, so you can compare the peoples you have shaped.
BUILT FOR SHORT SESSIONS
• Over 50 hand-written dilemmas, drawn differently in every run.
• Plays fully offline, with no account. Progress is saved after every decision: stop whenever you like and resume later.
• Portrait, one-handed play.
ATMOSPHERE AND ACCESSIBILITY
• Quiet animated backdrops for each era and original ambient sound.
• Reduced motion, high contrast, optional background scenes and consequence details, large-text support and labels for screen readers.
• Available in 12 languages, switchable in the settings.
FREE, WITHOUT INTERRUPTIONS
Annalora is free. It shows a single small banner on the home and archive screens only, never during a decision and never over your chronicle. There are no in-app purchases.
All peoples, places and events in the game are fictional.
A people begins. What it becomes is your doing.
