Aerimo: Air Distance & Map

How far is one place from another as the crow flies? Aerimo tells you in a few taps: from your location or between any two places in the world.

📍 FROM MY LOCATION OR BETWEEN TWO PLACES
• Tap "From my location", pick a destination and get the distance instantly.
• Or choose start and end: London → Paris, New York → Los Angeles, home → work.
• Swap A ⇄ B with one tap.

🔎 FIND ANY POINT
• Cities, addresses, postcodes, landmarks.
• Airport codes: type JFK, LHR, LAX.
• Coordinates in any format (decimal, degrees-minutes-seconds, Google Maps links).
• Pick any point on the map: peaks, lakes, the open sea.
• Ambiguous names ("Springfield") show every match: the app never guesses for you.

✈️ WORKS OFFLINE TOO
• The calculation never needs internet.
• More than 38,000 cities and 3,200 airports are built in, with names in 16 languages.
• Without a connection the map is replaced by a 3D globe that always works.

🎯 REAL PRECISION
• Geodesic distance on the WGS84 ellipsoid (Karney's algorithm): the same math used by GPS and aviation, accurate to the metre.
• The line on the map is the true one: curved like the Earth, even across the date line.
• Kilometers, miles and nautical miles, heading (e.g. northwest 327°), halfway point.

⭐ HANDY EVERY DAY
• History of your distances and favorites (Home, Work…).
• Copy or share the result with one tap.
• Light and dark theme, 16 languages.
• "From here" shortcut: long-press the app icon.

🔒 YOUR PRIVACY
• Your location is read only when you ask, once, and used on your phone.
• It is never stored, never sent, never tracked in the background.
• No account, no servers of ours.

ℹ️ Straight line, not road
Aerimo measures the shortest distance over the Earth's surface, like a direct flight. By car, on foot or by train the route is always longer.

Aerimo is free, with discreet ads that never cover the result. Need a break? Watch a short video and get 24 hours without ads.
