About PillBook: Pill Reminder & BP
PillBook is a pill reminder and medication tracker that also keeps a blood pressure and blood sugar log for you and your family.
One-time purchase · No subscription · No ads · No account · Works 100% offline · No internet permission
Reminders you can rely on
• An alarm at each dose time; Taken, Snooze or Skip right from the alarm or the notification
• Gentle, standard or persistent alerts, with a sound and vibration per medicine
• A follow-up when a dose is not marked yet, and an evening summary of doses still open
• Reliability check with steps for your phone brand and a test alarm
• Spoken reminders with the phone's own offline voice
• Alarms survive restarts and time changes; when travelling, keep home or local time
Every kind of schedule
• 1 to 8 times a day, each with its own time and amount
• Every few hours, on chosen weekdays, every few days, or cycles such as 21 days on, 7 days off
• Tapering plans in steps, entered as your doctor wrote them
• Move a whole plan later or earlier in one step
• As needed, with your own minimum gap and daily limit
• After another medicine (follows when it was really taken), or tied to meals: 30 min before breakfast
• Courses with an end date, pauses, and another timetable for a period such as Ramadan
• Amounts like ½ tablet, ml, drops, puffs or units, with food pictograms
For the whole family
• Up to 8 profiles, each with a name and a color
• Every alarm shows who it is for; record who gave each dose
• Elder mode: bigger text, big buttons and a louder alarm
• Family book: share one person's data as an encrypted file and merge it on another phone
• Injection site rotation and a pill photo for carers
• Pill organiser fill list with a weekly reminder; pause a whole person during a hospital stay
• Care contacts with one-tap dial, and a big-text doctor-visit screen with allergies
Refills
• Optional pill count that goes down with each Taken; Today flags a dose it does not cover
• A "runs out on" date for each medicine
• A refill reminder a few days before you run out
• Expiry month per box, with a list of what expires soon
• Enough until…: what your plan needs for a trip or until the next prescription
Blood pressure log, blood sugar log and weight
• Fast BP entry with pulse, arm, position and tags
• Blood sugar in mg/dL or mmol/L with context and time in range, plus HbA1c
• Weight in kg or lb, with BMI
• Charts from 7 days to 1 year, with medicine changes marked
• Home BP week: morning and evening readings with their averages
• BP bands (AHA/ACC 2017 or ESC/ESH 2018) and BMI categories, shown for information only
• Reminders to measure, and appointments with your questions for the doctor
• Notes and symptoms with a 0–10 scale
• Your own measurements and lab values (SpO₂, INR…) with your own range
Doctor report
• For one person and a date range or since the last visit: medicines, doses taken, reasons for skipped doses, medicines stopped and why, averages, charts and notes
• See when doses are most often missed, by time of day and weekday
• Share or print it as a PDF (Android 4.4+); on Android 4.3 as CSV with a text summary
• A large-text medicine card and a weekly dose chart for carers
Private by design
• No internet permission: your health data stays on your phone. No cloud, no sign-up
• App lock with a PIN or fingerprint
• Privacy mask: no medicine names on the lock screen
• Encrypted backup file, daily snapshots, CSV and JSON export
Wear OS, widgets and every phone
• A stand-alone Wear OS app: medicines, dose alerts, a tile and BP logging (no phone sync yet)
• Widgets: the next dose with Taken, today's list, the last BP and sugar
• Android 4.3 and newer, fast with 1 GB of RAM; tablets, dark mode and 20 languages
PillBook is not a medical device and does not give medical advice. Always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions. Reminders depend on your phone's settings; check them in the Reliability screen.
