About HabitGrid: daily habit tracker
Mark what you did today and the grid fills in. A few months in, your year is written out day by day, without you having to remember any of it.
Every habit has its own color. That color shows up on its card, in the month calendar, in the year grid and in the charts, so you find the one you are looking for before you read its name.
EVERYTHING STAYS ON YOUR PHONE
There is no account to create and no email to hand over. No ads, no purchases, and nothing you write down leaves your device. You can export your whole history whenever you want and import it back wherever you want.
WHAT IT DOES
One square a day. A half-finished day is drawn at its real height, so one glass out of eight and seven out of eight look like the different days they were.
One tap adds one step. If your goal is three, the first tap marks one.
You pick the days of the week, the times per week, or how many days apart. A day that was never due does not break a streak, and neither does skipping one on purpose: it drops out of the arithmetic instead of counting as a miss.
Five home screen widgets, from the full grid down to a button that fits in one cell and marks with a single tap.
It works for habits you want to quit, too. There, every day counts as clean until you log a relapse.
Reminders are per habit, and they stay quiet on days that were not due, or once you have already met that week's quota.
The stats show two numbers that often get confused. How many habits you completed, which goes up when you do more. And what share of them you kept, which says how on top of things you are. The first one does not drop the day you add a new habit.
Each habit's strength runs from 0 to 100 percent and gives recent days more weight. A streak breaks in a day. Strength falls slowly and climbs back slowly.
Per-day notes, categories, archiving, and a full backup.
HOW IT LOOKS
It can take its colors from your wallpaper if you like. Light and dark themes.
