About Nirokh: Verify Live Caller
A familiar voice can still leave you unsure. Nirokh gives you a separate way to challenge a live caller through the phone of one person you trust.
Pair two phones while both people are together. Each phone creates its own cryptographic identity, scans the other phone's QR code, and shows the same six-word relationship fingerprint. Both people must compare the words out loud and confirm them. Pairing never treats a phone number or account name as proof.
During a suspicious voice call, open Nirokh and choose your paired person. Their phone receives a fresh, signed request that expires after 60 seconds. They answer Yes only if they are really speaking with you at that moment, or No if they are not.
Nirokh reports only what the evidence proves:
• Amber means the paired phone returned a valid signed Yes. It does not prove that the familiar voice is on this exact call.
• Red means the paired person answered No, the request expired, the session did not match, or a signature was invalid.
When the answer is uncertain or negative, stop and call the person back using a number you already saved. The saved-number callback shield helps you leave the suspicious call and open or call one contact selected from your address book.
Nirokh keeps a small encrypted proof history with the result, reason, person, and time. You can enable App Lock with fingerprint or face, a dedicated Nirokh PIN, or both. The Nirokh PIN is independent from the device PIN.
Everyone in a trusted circle needs Nirokh installed and internet access for presence requests. Each relationship must be paired face to face. When someone answers No, their other paired phones receive a quiet, signed warning so family members can call back using a number they already trust.
Nirokh is a verification aid, not a guarantee that a caller or request is safe. Never send money, passwords, or codes because a voice sounds familiar. End an uncertain call and use a number you already trust.
