Shepherdr is a mobile client for herdr, the terminal workspace manager for AI coding agents. Keep an eye on your agents and step in when they need you, from anywhere, over SSH.

SEE WHAT YOUR AGENTS ARE DOING
- Live tree of herdr workspaces, tabs and panes, with a drawer that jumps to the terminal you are in
- Agent status at a glance: working, blocked or idle

OBSERVE OR TAKE CONTROL
- Open any pane as a read-only terminal to watch safely
- Take control when an agent is blocked and needs an answer, then release it again
- Two rows of extra keys for phone keyboards: Esc, Tab, sticky Ctrl and Alt, arrows and more
- Pinch to zoom, use A+ and A-, or press the volume keys to change the font size
- Adjustable scroll speed with fling scrolling
- Tap to send a mouse click to apps that use the mouse (optional)
- Show or hide the keyboard with one button
- Tap links to open them, including web addresses wrapped across several lines
- If herdr is not available on a server, open a plain SSH shell instead
- Reconnects quickly after the app has been in the background or the network drops

THEMES

MULTIPLE SERVERS AND KEYS
- Add servers by IP address or DNS name
- Sign in with a password or an SSH key
- Generate Ed25519 keys in the app, or import OpenSSH/PEM keys (ed25519, RSA, ECDSA), including passphrase-protected keys
- Show your public key as text or a QR code, or copy a ready-made command that installs it in authorized_keys
- Shepherdr Pro: move a private key to another of your devices as a passphrase-encrypted QR code or file, and scan it with the camera on the other device

PASTE IMAGES INTO YOUR TERMINAL (PRO)
- Long-press in a terminal you control and choose Paste image (from the clipboard) or Insert image (from your photos)
- The image is reduced in size and uploaded over your own SSH connection to the /tmp folder of your server, readable only by your user, and its path is typed for you, so tools like coding agents can read it
- Nothing is sent to the developer. Uploads older than 7 days are removed from /tmp when you next connect

SHEPHERDR PRO: ONE-TIME UNLOCK, NO SUBSCRIPTION
Shepherdr is free for one server. A single one-time purchase unlocks Shepherdr Pro for good:
- Unlimited servers
- Private key export, as an encrypted file or encrypted QR code
- Create, edit and import custom themes
- Paste image and Insert image

SECURE BY DESIGN
- Host-key verification: you confirm a server's fingerprint on first connect and are warned if it changes
- Passwords, private keys and passphrases are kept in Android's encrypted storage, and passwords and passphrases are saved only if you choose
- Optional biometric or screen-lock app lock, which also blocks screenshots while enabled
- Android backup is disabled, so your secrets stay on the device
- The camera is used only to scan QR codes; nothing is recorded or stored
- No accounts, no ads, no analytics. The app only connects to the servers you add
