Kit Business

Kit Business turns an Android TV or Google TV into a live dashboard for a business that runs on Kit. Sign in once, then read the numbers from across the shop or the boardroom — no mouse, no touch, only the remote.

What you see

• Overview — revenue, gross profit, orders, average order value and customers for the chosen period, with the change against the previous period, sales by hour, locations ranked and a profit waterfall.
• Sales — revenue, orders, average order, refunds; sales and orders by hour, by location and by category.
• Inventory — stock value, out-of-stock and low-stock counts, stock by location and the products that need attention.
• Customers — customer count, new customers, retention, average spend, top customers and outstanding balances.
• Expenses — total expenses, expense ratio, largest category and run-rate; expenses by category and over time.
• Profitability — gross profit, net profit, gross margin and receivables; margin by location and by product.
• Locations — one card per location with its own sales curve, share and margin.
• Highlights — the notable changes of the period, one card each.
• Live — the latest sales as they happen, with locations trading now.
• Presentation — rotates the dashboards you choose at the interval you choose, for a wall screen.

Made for the remote

• One focus ring, visible at all times; values change only on OK; BACK always goes one level up.
• Period chips (Today, Yesterday, This week, This month, More dates) and a single Filters sheet for business, location and comparison.
• Light by day, dark by night: the theme follows the TV's clock (06:30–18:30 light), or fix Dark or Light in Settings.
• Large numerals and labels sized for ten feet; nothing is hidden behind a hover.

Signing in

• Scan the QR code with the Kit Business phone app (Menu › Connect a TV) — nothing to type on the TV.
• Or use your Kit e-mail and password on the TV keyboard, your Google account, or your company's own Kit Enterprise server (yourcompany.kit.africa).

Permissions and data

Kit Business shows only the businesses, locations and reports that your Kit account is allowed to see. Sections that are not enabled for your account stay visible in More with the reason, so you always know what is there. The TV keeps a short-lived cached snapshot so the last numbers stay readable during a network interruption, marked as cached with the time.

A Kit business account and an internet connection are required. Kit Business does not sell anything itself and shows no advertising.
