BlindDriver: навігатор без GPS

BlindDriver is a navigator for drivers in Ukraine that doesn't get lost when GPS is jammed or replaced.

When the satellite position disappears or "jumps", a regular navigator either freezes or leads along the wrong street. BlindDriver checks each GPS position and, if it cannot be trusted, continues to guide along the route based on the calculation: phone sensors, the last reliable GPS and the position behind the network (Wi-Fi, towers). It honestly shows how accurate the position is and allows you to quickly correct it.

HOW IT DRIVES WITHOUT GPS
• Recognizes jamming and replacement: receiver signal level, number of satellites, jumps and "frozen" coordinates, discrepancy with the network. The GPS status indicator is always on the screen.
• Untrusted positions are not included in the map, a sharp jump far from the route is discarded.
• Without GPS, the marker moves along the route at an estimated speed; stops and turns are recognized by the accelerometer and gyroscope.
• The estimated position is shown by a gray arrow with a circle of possible error and time without GPS.
• The "↑100" and "↓100" buttons shift the position 100 m forward or backward.
• When the GPS returns, the position smoothly becomes real; the route can be rebuilt from the position on the map, by the network or from a specified point.

ROUTES AND GUIDANCE
• Search for addresses, points A and B, intermediate points, several route options, saved routes and addresses, "Home" and "Work".
• Insert coordinates and links from other applications and messengers via "Share".
• Voice prompts in Ukrainian, maneuver panel, arrival time, speed limit sign.
• Built-in speed camera database, works without a network.
• Navigation continues in the background and when the screen is off (with a constant notification).
• Traffic jams and speed signs - with your own Mapbox key; without a key, routes are built via OSRM.

WITHOUT INTERNET
• Offline routes across Ukraine: road graph (about 290 MB) is downloaded once.
• Offline address search by region and offline map along the route and around you.

ALSO
• Air alerts for your area (data from ukrainealarm.com; this is not an official alert service, pay attention to official signals). The area is determined on the phone, coordinates are not sent to the server.
• Trip analytics: mileage, travel time and parking.
• OpenStreetMap map, 3D buildings, light and night themes.

RATES
The first 15 days - all functions without a card and registration. Then there is the free plan: driving without GPS, protection against jamming, offline map and voice without restrictions, 5 new routes per day, 1 waypoint, up to 5 saved routes and addresses. The Pro subscription removes these restrictions and adds cameras and traffic lights on the screen and trip analytics.

HONEST ABOUT LIMITATIONS
• Without GPS, this is a calculation, not a satellite position: the error increases with distance, which is why corrections "↑100" and "↓100" are required.
• Ukraine only, Ukrainian only, Android 10 or newer.
• The application is actively developing, the set of functions is changing.

PRIVACY
Without advertising and analytical services, no account required. Recording of trip logs is disabled by default; you can only send the log to the developer yourself, the positions near the start and finish are cut out. You can delete your data in the application: Settings → About the application.
