Skandineer: Travel Buddies

Skandineer is the app to meet Scandinavians abroad and find travel buddies. See which Swedes, Norwegians, Danes and Finns are near you, join groups, find activities and get to know people who understand both the homesickness and the adventure – whether you live abroad or are traveling.

THE MAP
Open the map and see Scandinavians nearby, in the city where you live or where you have just arrived. Positions are always approximate: your exact location is never shown, and profiles outside your local area are anonymized. You choose whether you appear on the map at all.

GROUPS AND ACTIVITIES
Create or join groups: afterwork, board games, padel, language cafés, anything you like. Activities have a place and a time, so you actually meet. Everything is built for real meetups and new friends, not endless scrolling.

CHAT
Group and activity chats plus direct messages. New chats are started with people nearby, or people you have met through groups, activities or the travel forum. It keeps conversations genuine.

TRAVEL FORUM
Moving on, or tired of traveling solo? Find travel buddies and travel companions among other Scandinavians heading the same way.

SAFETY
Report and block directly in the app. Reported content is reviewed within 24 hours. Skandineer is for people aged 18 and over.

SKANDINEER PLUS
For free you see the Scandinavians closest to you. With Plus you see everyone your age wherever in the world they are, and you can message them. You can also filter profiles, create private groups and activities, and run more of your own at the same time. The subscription renews automatically until you cancel. You can stop whenever you want.

Skandineer is not a dating app. It is a community for new friends, networks and everyday company for Scandinavian expats abroad.
