Padlockout

Padlockout is a digital workplace application for managing isolation padlocks and keys.

The app provides two connected registers:

• Padlock Cabinet – manages available and issued isolation padlocks
• Competent Person Key Cabinet – manages controlled keys.

Authorised users can see which padlocks are available or in use, record take-out and return actions, assign keys to cabinet hooks, and maintain a structured operational history.

Padlockout is intended for controlled workplace and enterprise use. Users cannot create accounts inside the app. Accounts and access permissions are created and assigned by an authorised administrator.

The app can be used in offshore, industrial and other workplaces that require a consistent digital overview of isolation padlocks, controlled keys and operational history.

Padlockout is designed to support lockout/tagout (LOTO) and hazardous-energy isolation programmes by providing traceable padlock and key assignments, controlled registers and operational records. It can support electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and other energy-isolation activities when used in accordance with the organisation’s approved procedures.

Padlockout is an administrative and record-keeping tool. It does not replace approved isolation procedures, risk assessments, training, physical lockout or tagout equipment, verification of isolation, or other safety and regulatory requirements.
