About DICOM Viewer
DICOM Viewer lets you inspect medical imaging files directly on an Android phone or tablet.
Supported files:
- DICOM Part 10, .dcm, .dicom, .ima and metadata-only DICOMDIR
- NIfTI .nii, .nii.gz and .nifti
- NRRD/NHDR .nrrd, .nrrd.gz and .nhdr
- MetaImage .mha and .mhd files with embedded LOCAL data
Use it to check image preview, frame or slice count, dimensions, modality, Transfer Syntax and technical metadata. Display controls include window center, window width, frame or slice selection, zoom, palette and inversion. You can share the current preview as PNG and export technical metadata as JSON.
Patient tags are hidden by default and are shown only after you enable them. Files are selected by you and processed locally for viewing. Internet access is used for Sentry crash reporting and AppMetrica analytics; the app does not upload selected image files for rendering.
DICOM Viewer is made for technical inspection, QA and file compatibility checks. It is not a medical device and must not be used for diagnosis, treatment or clinical decisions.
The app also supports system, light and dark themes and adapts layouts for phones and tablets.
