About Phonemes: IPA chart, transcription & pronunciation

With this app you can convert text to phonetic representations and explore the sounds of the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA)! Explore place and manner of pronunciation, and see a visual representation of the mouth while pronouncing.

Transcription is possible from English, Spanish, Portuguese and Russian with more languages to follow.

The free version supports all phonemes of the English language. Premium version unlocks all phonemes.

Look up charts for:
- Vowels
- Pulmonic consonants
- Non-pulmonic consonants (ejectives, clicks, implosives)
- Other symbols such as suprasegmentals and word accents
