Wateen integrates employee and manager services into a single app linked to your organization's Wateen HR platform.

Track your attendance and requests from your phone, and record your arrival and departure times at approved work locations when permitted by your organization's policies. Optional attendance reminders help you remember to clock in and out at the start and end of your shift, or when you arrive at and leave your workplace.

Features available depending on your account and your organization's permissions:

- Recording attendance and departure times and reviewing your attendance log.

- Schedule-based reminders, including night shifts.

- Optional reminders based on work locations or approved Wi-Fi hotspots.

- Requesting leave, certificates, and justifications for absence, and tracking their status.

- Viewing available payslips.

- Reviewing your employee file, training, performance reviews, goals, and assigned tasks.

- Internal communication with messages, attachments, reporting, and blocking.

- Team management, approving requests, and manually recording authorized personnel.

To remind you to arrive and leave, Wateen uses your location in the background, even when the app is closed, only if you have enabled location reminders and granted permission. The ID of your workplace's approved Wi-Fi hotspot can also be used. Reminders do not automatically record your arrival or departure, and you can disable this feature. Schedule reminders work without location permission. The alert may be delayed depending on your phone's connection and battery settings.

To get started, enter your organization's Wateen address, followed by the username and password you received from it. If you are a new organization owner, the "New to Wateen?" option will guide you through creating your organization and completing its initial setup in your browser, then return to the app. The app retains your organization's address after you log out, and you can change it from the login screen.

Messaging is for employees of the same organization only and does not allow communication with users of other organizations. The app is free to download and does not include any in-app purchases. Available services, permissions, and data are determined by your organization's account.
