About QuickBar: Photo Shortcuts

Your favorites. One slide away.
Reach your favorite apps, links, and contacts right from your notification shade.

A loved one, your child, your favorite star, or a view from an unforgettable trip.
Turn a photo that makes you smile into your own QuickBar.

Bring your favorite photos and everyday shortcuts together, ready whenever you pull down your notification shade.

■ Make it yours with photos

Add a personal touch to a space you open every day.
Customize both your QuickBar background and shortcut icons.

- Photo backgrounds — Personalize your notification shade with your own photos of loved ones, a favorite celebrity or K-pop idol, or memorable travel moments.
- Photo icons — Replace shortcut icons with your own photos or images.
- Background colors — Choose a color for a simple, clean look.
- Fine adjustments — Adjust icon corners, size, and opacity. Show or hide icon names and change their text color.
- Recent backgrounds — Easily reuse your recent colors and images.

Use the live preview to create a QuickBar that fits your style.

■ Your everyday favorites, together

No need to go back to your home screen and dig through folders.
Simply swipe down and tap what you need.

- Apps — Open your everyday messaging, social, banking, and other apps.
- Links — Jump straight to your favorite websites or saved links.
- Contacts — Open the dialer with your contact's number already filled in.

Adjust the number of columns and rows to fit your shortcuts.
Contact shortcuts never place calls automatically. Review the number and tap to call when you're ready.

■ Give empty space a shortcut, too

Tap an empty spot in your QuickBar to open a shortcut.
It opens the QuickBar app by default, but you can change it to an app, link, or contact.

See the usage options below for access to this customization.

■ Put it on your home screen

Add a QuickBar widget using your current setup.
Enjoy the same personalized photo background and shortcuts right on your home screen.

■ Keep notifications under control

See which apps send frequent notifications.
Select the apps you want to manage, and QuickBar will open their system notification settings one by one.

You decide whether to turn notifications off. When you return to QuickBar, it checks the current setting and moves to the next selected app.

- Notification titles and message contents are not read or stored.
- Counts are based on the sending app and notification time.
- Notification access is requested only when you use this optional feature.

■ Back up and restore with Google

Back up your settings and shortcuts to your Google account, including custom icon images and background photos.
Sign in with the same Google account to restore your backup after changing devices or reinstalling the app.

Backups are stored in QuickBar's dedicated app data space in Google Drive. QuickBar does not request access to your other personal files.

■ Free and Premium options

Use up to 5 columns × 3 rows for free.
Watch a rewarded ad to completion to unlock up to 8 columns × 4 rows and empty-space shortcut customization for 3 days.
Your configured icons and shortcuts remain saved when access expires.

Prefer an ad-free experience?
Premium unlocks all slots and empty-space shortcut customization with a single purchase. No subscription.

■ Permissions and data

- Notifications: Required to display QuickBar in your notification shade.
- Notification access: Used for optional notification management. Other features work without it.
- Installed apps: Used to show apps you can add as shortcuts.

QuickBar settings and shortcuts are stored on your device. When you run a Google Drive backup, this information is saved to your own Google account.
