This is a journal entry app for sole proprietors and freelancers that allows you to record journal entries in just three taps: Payment Method → ​​Account → Amount.
When you import a CSV file in Taxnote format, the account and payment method are carried over by name. You can continue recording immediately without having to create a new account list (Taxnote is a product of freee Co., Ltd., and this app is not affiliated with them).
No registration or login is required. It runs ad-free and without an internet connection. Up to 15 manually recorded journal entries per month are free.

■ Record in 3 Taps
• For expenses and income, enter Payment Method → ​​Account → Amount. For transfers, enter Source → Destination → Amount and tap [Record in Journal]. The date is set to today by default.
• You can add payment methods and accounts on the spot from the input screen.
• Copy previous entry, fix date, payment method, and account for continuous input, and undo immediately after recording. Frequently used notes can be selected from the options.
- Under "Details," you can also record business partners, sub-accounts, withholding tax amounts on income, and "expense reimbursements" (refunds/transfers for personal use) for expenses.
- Expenses paid with personal funds or cards can be recorded under "Personal Money (Owner's Loan/Credit)."

■ Journal and Income Statement
- Journal entries are kept in debit/credit format. Monthly list and search by notes/account.
- The income statement summarizes income and expenses by account for yearly, monthly, weekly, daily, and specified periods.
- Account and accounts receivable/payable balances are displayed separately from income and expenses. Accounts receivable collections are not double-counted as income.
- Total withholding tax amount for the year and subtotals for each business partner.
- Beginning balance for each year.

■ Switching and Importing (Free/Not counted towards free tier)
- You can import CSV files from your previous accounting app. The account and payment method are inherited by name, and any missing entries are created with the same name (this can be changed on the confirmation screen before importing).
- Before importing, you can check the number of entries, period, total, and the first row. Even if you import the same file twice, the journal entries will not be duplicated.
- You can also import CSV files created with other apps or spreadsheets by selecting columns.
- Imports can be undone later.

■ Export (Free, No Limit on Number of Exports)

You can select a period and export in a format that can be directly provided to accounting software or a tax accountant.

■ Backup (Free)
- You can export a copy of your recorded journal entries to a backup file (.json). You can save your entries by sending them to cloud storage or email from the shared screen.
* When you change devices or reinstall the app, you can restore your data by importing the exported file (you can choose to add to or replace your current data).
* The settings screen shows the number of days since the last export.
* Automatic device backup (Google) follows your device's backup settings. To ensure your data is saved, please export it to a file.
* We do not send journal entry data to our servers.

■ Other
* Lock with fingerprint/face recognition (or screen lock).
* Add, rename (combine), sort, and hide accounts and payment methods.
* Dark mode.
* No login or account registration required. Works without an internet connection.

■ Pricing
* Free: Up to 15 manually recorded journal entries per month. Import, export, and backup can be used without limits even with the free version.
* Journal Entry Memo Pro Annual Plan: ¥3,500 (tax included) / year. For first-time annual plan purchasers, the first year is ¥2,800 (tax included) (if purchased by June 30, 2027).
Upgrading to Pro grants unlimited journal entry recording. Even if you cancel Pro, your recorded journal entries will remain accessible.

The annual plan automatically renews. Unless you cancel, it will renew annually for ¥3,500 (tax included) and will be billed through Google Play. You can cancel through the Google Play Store app under "Payments & subscriptions" → "Subscriptions." Even after cancellation, you can continue using Pro until the end of the paid period.

■ What this app does not do
- Creation of tax returns, blue return financial statements, and balance sheets, and submission via e-Tax
- Calculation of tax amounts and deductions, and tax judgments such as whether an expense is deductible
- Automatic import of bank account and credit card statements, and linking with accounts
- Receipt reading (OCR) and attachment of photos
- Provision as a ledger that meets the requirements of the Electronic Bookkeeping Law (the data in the app is a copy. Please write out and store the ledger)
- PC version, web version, sharing with multiple users, automatic synchronization between devices
