What’s new

Version 1.5.2 · Updated October 25, 2026

Mortgages that keep themselves up to date, with prime-based rates • New: mortgage accounts. Add the amount, term, rate and first payment date, and WorthBook works out the monthly payment, splits it into principal and interest, and updates the balance on each payment date. Earlier payments are filled in for you, so the history starts when the loan did. Prefer to update it yourself? Switch to Manual • Prime-based mortgages: pick your bank or enter your own prime rate, and enter Prime minus x%. Each installment uses the prime rate of its time. The banks' rates are built in, no internet needed • Rate changed? Tap Change rate or Change plan on the mortgage card to see the new monthly payment first • The mortgage calculator counts a cash rebate, as a percentage or an amount, and shows the interest and the effective rate after it • Link a mortgage to its property to see your equity and how much of the home you own • Lucky cat share cards: make a card for your net worth, spending, savings rate or asset mix from Insights > Records & milestones. The cat's face follows how the month went, with a cheeky line to match. Percentages only unless you turn amounts on • Tap the lucky cat on Home to drop a coin. Coins rain down when you log income, and the cat tosses money away when you log spending • Smarter auto-log: topping up an Octopus with a credit card is no longer logged as spending; bank offers quoting amounts like HK$50K are skipped; money received ("Received $50.00") is logged as income; change an entry's category and the next payment from that shop follows • Fixes: a liability can go back to a positive balance and its old category; a balance you enter always takes effect; renaming an account no longer changes its history; net worth shows cents like the totals beside it; reminders tell you when notifications are off Everything is worked out on your phone. Mortgage accounts are free for everyone. No account, no tracking.
