About 5books: Your Top Five Books

Just five books. Not too many, not too few. 5books is where you pick the five books that made you, and carry them with you. PICK YOUR FIVE Choose five from everything you've read and rank them. Spin them with your finger and they rotate to the front, one by one. Swap the order or the books as often as you like. BUILD YOUR LIBRARY Books you've read, books you're reading, books still on the pile. Add a status, stars and a short note. The shelf of covers you build becomes your reading log. Add several books at once and record them one after another, right there. TAG HOW IT FELT "Made me cry", "couldn't put it down", "worth rereading" — 13 feeling tags. Filter your library by genre and by feeling. SCAN YOUR BOOKSHELF Already own dozens of books? Take one photo of your shelf and 5books reads the spines and adds them all at once. Barcode scanning works too. SEND YOUR FIVE Share your five as a single image card, or send one link. Change your five later and the same link updates. The person you send it to doesn't need the app. YOUR NEXT BOOK, FROM A FRIEND'S FIVE Invite friends and see their five books. 5books quietly points out books a friend picked that you don't own yet — a recommendation based on nothing but the fact that someone chose it as one of their five. NO ACCOUNT NEEDED No email, no password. Your library stays on your device. Your five and your notes are shared only when you join friends or send a link. Available in English, Japanese and Korean. Book data and covers are provided by the Rakuten Books API and the Kakao (Daum) Book Search API. Supported by Rakuten Developers
