Scan paper documents, fill PDF forms and add your handwritten signature on iPhone and iPad. Signature Scan helps you prepare a separate PDF copy to save or share, while keeping document processing on your device. SCAN PAPER AND HANDWRITING • Scan multiple pages with automatic or manual capture. • Capture a handwritten signature or initials from paper and remove the background. • Choose Clean, Balanced or Bold extraction to suit your handwriting. • Keep handwriting in your local library for a fresh selection when you need it. FILL AND SIGN PDFs • Fill supported standard PDF form fields: text, checkboxes, radio buttons and choice lists. • Add multiline text and checkmarks to flat or scanned PDFs. • Place multiple signatures, initials and dates across a document. • Move, resize, duplicate or delete placed items, and undo or redo session edits. • Duplicate placements to pages with matching geometry, or place them manually on other pages. • Save or share a flattened PDF copy without changing the imported original. Open completed outputs again from Recent Docs. PREPARE REUSABLE TEMPLATES Set up a recurring form or layout once, then start with blank entries next time. • Saved form: keep a protected local PDF copy and its layout. • Layout only: keep placement positions and field definitions without storing the PDF content. • Preview a template before applying it. Layout-only templates require a compatible PDF. • Text, choices, dates and handwriting are cleared when a template is saved. Signature and initials locations require a fresh handwriting selection. Existing printed or flattened content remains in a Saved form template, including any information already printed on its pages. Review the preview before saving or reusing it. USEFUL FOR EVERYDAY PAPERWORK Fill an application, add initials across a multipage document, complete a scanned form with text and checkmarks, or reuse a layout for recurring paperwork. Review every field and placement before sharing. LOCAL DOCUMENT PROCESSING Scanning, handwriting extraction, PDF editing and template storage take place on your device. No account or document upload is required for these tools. You choose when to export a file or share it with another app. BEFORE YOU START Requires iOS or iPadOS 26 or later. Supported PDF form fields keep their existing positions; read-only fields remain read-only. This app does not provide OCR, automatic form-field detection or certificate signing. Templates do not automatically apply your signature. Try four completed PDF saves or shares at no charge. Further completed outputs require Pro. Creating and editing templates does not use that allowance.
