About Almie: Budget by Paycheck

Almie is the paycheck-first budgeting app. Instead of forcing your life into calendar months, Almie budgets the way you're actually paid — weekly, biweekly, or monthly — and keeps one number front and centre: what's safe to spend right now. SAFE TO SPEND You set the limits for your spending categories; Almie adds them up and counts them down as you spend, so the number on your home screen is what's genuinely left for the rest of the pay period. Bills and the money reserved for them are tracked separately, so they're never quietly funding a night out. RESERVES — YOUR BILLS, PRE-FUNDED Almie detects your recurring bills and reserves a slice of each pay period for every one, automatically. By the time the bill lands, the money has been set aside — and if a period comes up short, Almie tells you exactly how much to top up. SPENDING PACE Once you've set your limits, a live pace line shows whether today's spending fits the days left in your pay period — catch the overshoot on day 4, not day 13. LINK A BANK, OR DON'T Connect your banks with Plaid and Almie fills in transactions and finds your recurring bills for you. Prefer not to? Skip it — you can add transactions, bills, budgets and goals by hand and use Almie exactly the same way. EVERYTHING ELSE YOU'D EXPECT • Recurring & subscription tracking with a bill calendar • Savings goals funded alongside your bills at a rate you choose • Net worth, account balances, and 2 years of history • A period-in-review recap each time a pay period closes • Debt paydown simulator (avalanche vs. snowball) • Budgets that follow your pay cycle — weekly and biweekly periods start on your payday, monthly follows the calendar month PRIVATE BY DESIGN Bank connections are read-only via Plaid. Almie cannot move your money. No ads, no selling your data, no tracking SDKs. Delete your account and its data any time, right in the app. FREE AND PREMIUM Almie is free to use with up to 3 connected banks. Almie Premium connects up to 8 banks: $4.99/month or $49.99/year. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription auto-renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
