CoPact: Phones Away Together

Better kept together. Everyone at the table is on their phone, you included. With CoPact, your crew agrees on a time and every phone in it stays blocked until the time is up. On your own, the same pact holds you to your word. MADE FOR TIME TOGETHER • Two of you: the sofa, the film, date night, bed • The table: dinner with roommates or family, game night, a birthday • Exam week: a study group that keeps drifting back to the feed • Home with kids: be there for the evening and the weekend HOW A CREW PACT WORKS • Start a crew of up to 20 people, you included, and send the link. Each person joins on their own iPhone. • Pick the time: now, Friday at 7 PM, or every week. • Every phone in the pact is blocked. • Everyone sees who is in and when it ends. TERMS YOU ALL AGREED Pick Flexible or Strict before it starts. Flexible lets you take a short break, then blocks again. Strict has no breaks and no early end. In a crew, ending a Strict pact early takes a vote of more than half. BETWEEN CREWS For 11:40 PM in bed and the first hours of work. • Block apps and websites right away, on a schedule, or with a daily Time Limit or Open Limit. • At bedtime, start Sleep protection and everything but Always Allowed stays blocked until your wake time. • Always Allowed keeps the apps you still need, like Maps or Messages. WHEN LIFE HAPPENS The Emergency Pass opens everything for one hour, once a week. Every pact stays in place. WHAT YOU KEPT On the 1st, your crew gets its month: what you kept and the time spent with phones down. Your own Score and streak show how you followed through. Apple Health is optional and adds your sleep to the Score. HELD WITH THE APP CLOSED • Built on Apple's Screen Time frameworks, with no VPN. • Blocking keeps going with the app closed. • Turn on Block app deletion and CoPact stays on your phone while a pact runs. • Start a Quick Block from the Home Screen widget and follow it on your Lock Screen.
