About Takt Cycle & Period Tracker
Your first month is free. After that, Takt is a paid subscription, billed monthly or yearly — the exact price for your country is shown before you subscribe.
The subscription renews automatically; you can cancel anytime in Google Play. Your history stays visible and exportable even without a subscription.
Your cycle has its own rhythm — and Takt works with it. That matters most after coming off the pill, and in demanding months too. Takt is a period tracker and menstrual cycle tracker that adapts to you. And everything stays on your phone.
AFTER COMING OFF THE PILL
When will my period come back? When is it time to see a doctor? With “After the pill” you follow your path after stopping birth control stage by stage, at your own pace. When your ovulation is back, Takt shows you – with evidence from your temperature.
WHEN YOUR PERIOD IS IRREGULAR
26 days, then 41, then 33? An irregular cycle doesn't fit a 28-day box. You see your shortest and longest cycle, your luteal phase and the trend across all your cycles — even while your period is finding its way back after a birth. As an ovulation calendar and fertility calendar, Takt shows the prediction for your fertile days as a window.
DURING MENOPAUSE
Hot flushes, poor sleep, a cycle that keeps changing? Log what you notice and see your own history month by month — for yourself and for your doctor.
WITH OR WITHOUT A THERMOMETER
Measuring is optional, and Takt works without a thermometer too. If you log your basal body temperature and cervical mucus in the morning, Takt confirms your ovulation in retrospect.
THE UPS AND DOWNS AND EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN
Since when has it been like this? In your “Life path”, mark what shaped your year — a move, a treatment, a quiet stretch. Takt shows your cycles before and after.
WHAT YOU MEANT TO ASK, RIGHT AT HAND
The most important question only comes to you after the appointment? Gather your topics under “Doctor”, log the appointment and bring the “Cycle report” along as a PDF: history, key figures, temperature chart.
WE HELP YOU MAKE THE MOVE
Years of entries in another app? They come with you. Takt reads exports from your old period tracker, its own backups and CSV files.
NOBODY CAN TELL FROM YOUR PHONE
Takt is dark and calm throughout — nobody can tell what you're tracking by glancing at your phone. An app lock protects access with fingerprint, face or code.
YOUR DATA STAYS WHERE IT IS
No account, no sign-up, no server. Your entries are encrypted on your device, and your device's backup is explicitly turned off. Only you can share them. Flight mode on — everything keeps working.
WHAT'S INSIDE
• Cycle wheel, period calendar, cycle calendar and insights view
• Basal body temperature, bleeding, cervical mucus, 15 symptoms, including hot flushes and night sweats, notes
• “Life path”: events and time spans, compared before and after
• “Doctor”: appointment, topics for the visit, history of your visits
• “Cycle report” as PDF, export as JSON and CSV
• App lock, quiet local reminders
• Import from other period and cycle apps and CSV
FREQUENTLY ASKED
Do I need an account? No. No sign-up, no email address.
Can I use Takt for birth control? No. Takt doesn't tell you which days are "safe."
WHAT TAKT ISN'T
Takt is not a medical device and not a contraceptive method. It displays your own entries and provides informational estimates only — it does not diagnose, does not give medical advice, and is not a substitute for consulting a healthcare professional. Takt is not a form of contraception and doesn't name safe days. Takt doesn't diagnose anything and doesn't replace a conversation with your doctor. There's no pregnancy mode and no ovulation-test logging.
