• Torque — torque, power or speed from the other two

THE GLOSSARY

52 terms from drive technology, gearboxes, linear motion technology, lubrication and standards — with search, category filter and detailed explanations. The search also finds German terms typed without umlauts: “Ubersetzung” leads to “Übersetzung”.

BUILT FOR THE SHOP FLOOR

The app requests no Android permission that would let it access your device or your data — in particular no internet access. It works entirely without a network, in the basement as well as on the factory floor. There is no account, no sign-in, no advertising and no data collection. The app transmits nothing on its own. Only when you confirm beneath a result that you want to request a quote, switch to the shop or pass your calculation on to yourself does the app hand the calculator name, your inputs and the result to your browser or to an app of your choice — a confirmation sheet shows you every line beforehand. Links to the website open your browser without any calculated values.

German decimal commas are understood: 7,5 is as valid as 7.5. Every result field shows the precision that suits its order of magnitude — from fractions of a newton metre to millions of revolutions.

TECHNICAL BASIS

The formulae, standards references and guide values originate from the tools at technische-antriebselemente.de. The app's calculators are secured by verified test vectors derived from those same tools. Individual guide values and display rules may differ between app and website; your manufacturer's data and the respective standard are what count.

A design aid, not a binding design: the calculators implement simplified, generally accepted models and know neither your application nor its operating conditions. Every result must be checked by qualified personnel before use. Where figures differ, your manufacturer's data and the respective standard apply.
