About Mahaveer Award for Essays

The Bhagwan Mahaveer Foundation, Chennai conducts annual Essay Competition called Mahaveer Award for Essays for students studying in classes VI to XII. The aim is to acquaint the young people with the universal message of peace & harmonious co-existence preached by Bhagwan Mahaveer, the 24th Thirthankara, and highlight the relevance of Bhagwan Mahaveer’s teachings in the contemporary world. The online competition will be conducted in English and Tamil. Prizes ranging from Rs.15000 to Rs.1000 will be given.

No registration Fee

· The competition will be conducted from 1st November 2022 to 30th November 2022

· All questions will be objective type.

· Duration of the competition – 60 minutes

· The competition will have 50 multiple choice questions

· The Foundation provides reference booklets. It can be downloaded from our websites www.bmfawards.org and www.sjnsjainschools.org
