About Friendcasts

Friendcasts is an event planning tool that makes it easy to bring you and your friends together for fun times and meaningful connections. Unlike other apps that function like or require a social media account, Friendcasts is NOT a social media app. Friendcasts focuses only on the social aspect of bringing people together.

WHY FRIENDCASTS?
If you’ve ever tried to plan something then you know it can be difficult to organize people. There is pressure on the planner to message each person individually (which is inconvenient and time-consuming) or create a group chat (which is often difficult to leave).

With Friendcasts, you can gauge interest in potential events in a pressure free way by creating an “Idea”. If anyone you include is interested all they have to do is press a button. When your Idea has enough interest, it can be easily transitioned to an official Event that includes a dedicated group chat, polls, and a place to upload photos of the memories you've made. After the Event has ended, you can find it in your profile page along with your other past Events. Photos can still be uploaded but the group chat and polls are locked to prevent unnecessary noise and help you focus on future Events.

FEATURES
- Events - For planned occasions that are definitely happening.
- Ideas - Gauge interest in a potential event. When enough people indicate interest, you can get a notification and/or you can configure the Idea to automatically transition into an official Event.
- Communities - Communities allow you to share events and ideas with specific people. Whether it's for a local club, sports group, board game group, or even a travel group, you can set up a community for it.
- Chat - Each Event has a dedicated group chat to help make your plans a reality and includes GIF support for a little extra fun.
- Polls - Perfect for gauging feedback, making group decisions, or creating sign-up sheets
- Groups - Organize friends into custom groups for faster selection when creating a Cast or Event.
- Location selection - Everyone in an Event can quickly pull up directions to the fun
