Dama El Haj Brahim: Moroccan

Dama El Haj Brahim brings the checkers of Moroccan cafés to your phone, in 3D: a painted board on a café table, soda bottle caps as pieces, a glass of mint tea on the side, and opponents who move their pieces by hand, right in front of you.

HOW TO PLAY (Moroccan dama)
• 8 × 8 board, played on the dark squares; twelve caps each on the first three rows.
• A man moves one square diagonally forward and captures forward by jumping over an enemy piece; the capture goes on as long as another jump is possible.
• Capturing is mandatory, and so is taking the most pieces.
• Nfakh (the huff): whoever fails to capture (or takes fewer than the biggest capture) gets the faulty piece removed by the opponent, who then plays.
• A man that reaches the far row becomes a king: the cap is flipped over, with “ضامة” written inside. The king flies along the whole diagonal and captures from a distance.
• You lose when you have no piece or no move left. Draws by repetition, after 25 moves each without a capture or a man moving, or with kings alone.

FEATURES
• Against the computer: a random café regular waits at the table, with three levels (easy, medium, strong) and three game speeds.
• El Haj Brahim: twenty years unbeaten in this café. He plays at the highest level and comments every move in Moroccan Darija. Beat him for 50 flouss and join the champions’ leaderboard; lose with honor and chase the best-defeat record.
• Online 1 vs 1: a real random opponent, or a private table with a code to share; 30 seconds per move, and an absent player is replaced automatically. Table text chat with emojis, plus reporting and blocking of players.
• No internet? Play two-player over Wi-Fi or a phone hotspot.
• Shop: caps in every color, stones (pebbles, marble, jade, turquoise), wooden pieces and golden caps; dama boards (café table, cardboard, zellige, marble, thuya); glasses and café rooms. Everything unlocks with flouss earned by playing: nothing to pay.
• Your own character, café regulars who each have their own face, hands that really play, several cameras and a free camera.
• A 3D Moroccan café (zellige, lanterns, mint tea) whose graphics adapt to your phone.
• Interface in Moroccan Darija, French and English.

Dama Online is free and contains ads (a banner during play, an occasional interstitial between games, an app-open ad, and an optional video to earn flouss). In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, your consent is requested before any personalized ad, and you can change it at any time from the menu.

Online play uses an anonymous sign-in: no account to create. Your nickname is visible to the players at your table; you can delete your account from the menu.
