The app supports patients as well as clinicians.
The first 3 buttons lead users; often patients and their carers to assess whether or not they are at risk of liver disease as well as information on diets to improve health.

For those who may have been informed that they have hepatitis, the discussions are often rushed and hence a deliberate attempt has been made to provide authentic implications for such diagnoses.
We have now included a well laid dietary section that supports those who use the app to get better informed on recommendations for liver diseases, hypertension and diabetes, among others.

The 4th button reveals an image of a physician and a button which, when clicked, will lead the user to the section where the decision to treat or not to treat a patient with a positive hepatitis B infection can be made. This section was developed based on the World Health Organisation guidelines for the treatment of chronic hepatitis B.
