Wire Move is a pasture feed budget and grazing rotation book that runs entirely on your phone. Walk the platform, record what you measured, and it tells you how many days of feed stand in front of the mob - and which paddock to graze next.

THE FEED WEDGE
The home screen is the wedge itself. Every paddock is a bar, ordered by cover, with your residual ruled across the bottom and the mob's daily demand drawn as a diagonal. The gap between the two is your surplus or deficit - a shape you can see rather than a number you are asked to trust. Paddocks past the leaf-stage limit are drawn hatched.

THREE RULES A SPREADSHEET GETS WRONG
- Utilisation is not a constant. Below about 3,000 kg DM/ha stock clean up roughly 80% of what is offered; above it the sward shades itself, more is trodden in, and utilisation decays. A flat 80% makes a heavy wedge look like far more feed than it really is.
- Feed below the residual is not feed. Grazing under your residual sets the next regrowth back, so a paddock at 1,400 with a 1,500 residual offers zero - not "a bit".
- Supplement is not pasture. What is fed in the shed is deducted from demand, because counting gross intake against the paddock invents a deficit that is not there.

WHICH PADDOCK IS NEXT
Not simply the one with the most grass. A paddock that has not rested long enough is refused, with the shortfall named, because coming back early shortens the round every lap. A paddock past the leaf-stage limit is pulled forward even when another carries more cover - past the third leaf it stops adding feed and starts losing quality. When the rule disagrees with the obvious answer, the app says so and explains why.

PRIVACY
No account. No ads. No analytics. No third-party SDKs. No data collected and none shared. The app requests no runtime permissions at all. Its single network request is loading the privacy policy in Settings; everything else works with the phone in flight mode.

Wire Move is a record book and a calculator, not farm advice. The figures it returns are only as good as the covers you walk in, and your own judgement on the ground comes first.
