WHAT A COMPATIBILITY WALL CHART GETS WRONG
- A chart is pairwise. A room is a SET, and a set can fail when every pair in it passes. Apple (-1 to 4C) and orange (3 to 8C) overlap. Orange and pepper (7 to 10C) overlap. Apple and pepper do not overlap at all - so a room holding all three has no set point that suits it, and no pair on the chart would have told you.
- The app intersects every commodity's band at once and reports the band they genuinely share. When that band is empty it REFUSES: no number, no average, no compromise temperature that quietly ruins something.
- Colder is not always longer. Respiration slows as it gets colder, so life climbs - until you pass a commodity's chilling threshold, where cold injury starts costing more life than slow respiration saves. For those crops the curve climbs, peaks and falls away, and the coldest room is the wrong room.
- Ethylene and odour genuinely are pairwise, and are reported that way: which one gives it off, which one is sensitive, and what you will actually see happen.

WORKED OUT AGAINST YOUR ROOM, NOT A BOOK
Every answer starts from the room's own set point and its own recorded temperatures. An excursion is measured against what the room was asked for - 4C is fine in one room and an alarm in another. Rooms with no recent reading are treated as unverified rather than assumed to be holding.

PRIVACY
No account. No ads. No analytics. No third-party SDKs. No data collected and none shared. The app requests no runtime permissions at all. Its single network request is loading the privacy policy in Settings; everything else works in flight mode.
