DISTANCE MOVED, FLOORS CLIMBED & CALORIES BURNED COMPLICATION

APP PURPOSE
• with this Wear OS complications app it is possible to see activity results in your 3rd party watch face complications.

WHAT'S POSSIBLE WITH THIS APP ?
• set distance moved, floors climbed or calories burned complication in 3rd party watch face
• see activity results (needs some activity obviously)
• set app to open on complications tap (default on app UI)
• choose layout of SHORT_TEXT complication
• set distance units for distance moved complication

HOW TO USE ?
1. open app UI & give activity recognition permission (enable)
2. long-press watch face center - customize - add one of the possible complications (distance moved, calories burned, floors climbed)
3. be sure your watch is on your wrist !
4. do some activity - walk, climb floors - after some time activity data become available >>> see result on your watch face or in app UI
5. a) optional - set distance units (m "meters", Km, Mile) - note that app UI only shows distance in meters
b) optional - set app to open on complication tap (Google Fit, Samsung S Health, HS Complications)
c) optional - if you use complications in SHORT_TEXT spot, you can set their layout manually (TEXT ONLY, TEXT AND TITLE, TEXT AND ICON)

SUPPORTED COMPLICATION TYPES
• SHORT TEXT
• LONG_TEXT
• RANGED_VALUE (distance 0 >> 10000 m, calories 0 >> 500 cal, floors 0 >> 30 floors)

NOTE ! : Please, re-launch app UI after watch restart to ensure complication pulls data correctly

COMPLICATION UPDATE INTERVAL
• complication updates data instantly when screen is ON or measurement is taken manually.
• complication has 10 minute refresh interval in case automatic measurement is taken while screen is off. Complication refreshes data as soon as screen turns ON.
NOTE! : In rare cases it is possible that data shown lags by 1-2 minutes. This is happening, when refresh happens few seconds prior to measurement. Complication will then sync in 5 minutes.

HOW THIS APP WORKS ?
• this app is using new HEALTH SERVICES API PassiveData monitor to pull activity data & push this data directly to complication service.
• complication app doesn't share any user data. It simply allows its users to see data in a watch face complication.

Note: The Health Services API is in alpha release, meaning that APIs may be added, removed, or changed. This app is experimental but as Samsung Health is already using these APIs, we strongly believe that these APIs will be maintained.
