Light Meter: Film Photography

Light Meter: Film Photography turns your phone into an accurate handheld light meter for film cameras. Dial in your film speed, aperture, and shutter — then center the needle for a perfect exposure, just like a classic analog meter.

Built for rangefinder and vintage shooters — Leica, Bessa, Nikon, Canon, Pentax, Rolleiflex — and any film camera whose meter died or never existed.

A real match-needle meter
- Set ISO, aperture, and shutter the way you would on your camera
- Center the analog needle: green means correct exposure, amber within a stop, red means adjust
- Continuous live reading, or hold to lock a reading
- Reflected, incident, and spot metering
- Reads your camera's true exposure — not a screen-brightness guess

Made for film
- Reciprocity-failure correction for long exposures
- Per-camera, lens, and film-stock profiles you can save
- A shot log with camera, film, notes, and timestamp — review your roll after developing
- Calibrate it to match your trusted handheld meter

A camera lover's bonus
- Camera Museum: history, specs, notable lenses, and fun facts on the classic film cameras

Honest and private
- A one-time purchase. No subscription. No ads.
- Works fully offline — nothing leaves your phone

Whether you shoot 35mm, 120, or large format, Light Meter: Film Photography gives you a fast, accurate exposure reading with the look and feel of a vintage analog light meter.

Free to meter. A single one-time Pro unlock adds saved gear profiles, the shot log, and per-film reciprocity.
