Upmixify Recorder helps you record everyday audio and turn it into a wider surround sound mix. Made for content creators, vloggers, podcasters and anyone who wants more control over their recordings.

Record with your phone microphone or a compatible wired, USB or Bluetooth microphone. Choose your channel layout, adjust the sound and save your recording in a lossless format.

• Choose Stereo, 2.1, 5.1, 7.1 or 9.1 output.

SHAPE YOUR SOUND

Use noise reduction, EQ, compression, limiting and spatial controls to shape your recording. Choose a spatial preset or use Custom mode to adjust individual channel levels.

Flat mode provides a simpler option when you want minimal spatial processing.

VOICE PROFILES AND SPEAKER MAPPING

Create voice profiles with a name, voice sample and preferred audio channel. After recording, use offline speaker analysis to identify speaker turns, rename detected speakers and assign their positions in the surround mix.

Speaker recognition can vary with background noise, recording quality and overlapping voices. Speaker mapping works best when people speak one at a time; it does not fully separate people speaking simultaneously.

LOSSLESS RECORDING AND EXPORT

• WAV: uncompressed audio, including surround layouts up to 9.1.
• FLAC: lossless compressed audio for Stereo, 2.1, 5.1 and 7.1.
• WavPack: lossless compressed audio, including 9.1.

EDIT AFTER RECORDING

Use the built-in editor to refine your audio, adjust processing and export a new mix. Your RAW master lets you revisit the recording and try different settings.

ABOUT SURROUND OUTPUT

Upmixify Recorder uses DSP processing to create surround mixes from the available microphone input. A mono or stereo microphone does not capture independent sound from every direction. The app’s upmixed output does not replace a dedicated multichannel or ambisonic recording system.

Results depend on your microphone, source audio, settings and playback equipment. Compatible playback equipment is needed to hear individual surround channels; stereo devices may downmix the recording.

Microphone permission is required to record audio. External microphone availability depends on your Android device and accessory.
