Smart TV Remote: WiFi Control

ControlTV turns your phone into a Wi-Fi remote control for your Smart TV, streaming player or TV box. No ads, no account and no infrared: your phone talks to the TV over your home network. One universal TV remote for the connected TVs in your home.

BEFORE YOU INSTALL
• Your phone and your TV must be on the same Wi-Fi network.
• The TV must be a Smart TV or have a connected player. TVs without a network connection are not supported: the app does not use infrared.
• Some TVs ship with control from phone apps turned off: the app tells you which setting to turn on.
• Not supported yet: Samsung 2014-2015 models that ask for a PIN, Hisense VIDAA from 2022, Vizio OS, Titan OS and TiVo OS.

REMOTE
• D-pad, OK, back, home, menu, volume, mute and channels, with haptic feedback.
• Turn on compatible TVs over the network (Wake-on-LAN) and see at a glance which of your saved TVs are online.
• Touchpad: swipe to move through the menus and tap to select.
• Type on the TV with your phone keyboard or voice dictation on supported TVs.
• Open your streaming apps on the TV with one tap and keep your favourites first.

SEND AND MIRROR
• Send photos and videos from your phone to TVs that accept media (Google Cast, DLNA, LG webOS, Roku, Kodi and AirPlay on Apple TV).
• Shortcut to your phone's own screen mirroring (Smart View, Cast and similar).

PRIVACY
• No account and no ads. Saved TVs and preferences stay on your phone.
• The app talks directly to your TV on your local network; pairing uses the TV's own code or confirmation.
