Tukroo: News in 60 seconds

Tukroo is the day's news, in pieces.

Every story fits on one card that you can read in a minute or less, in Bangla or English. Swipe up for the next one. When you have read the day's stories, the feed ends, and so does your scrolling.

How it works
• Every story is written by Tukroo's own journalists. AI condenses each report into a clear headline and a summary of 90 words or fewer: a 60-second read at most.
• Stories come in Bangla and English. Choose your language when you start, and switch any time in Profile.
• Stories flagged by the system's checks wait for an editor before they are published.
• When a story has a picture, it is either a file photo of a person or place in the story from Wikimedia Commons, credited on the card, a credited photo from Pexels, or a representative picture made with AI. An AI picture shows a typical scene for the topic, not the event itself or anyone in it, and the card marks it with an "AI image" label. We never use photos from news publishers.
• AI can make mistakes. If a story looks wrong, tell us at [email protected].
• Every card shows when the story was published.
• Each card shows its source: "Source: Tukroo".

What you get
• Your topics: pick at least three of Tech, Business, Cricket, Football, Entertainment, Science, World, Politics, Startups, Health, Travel and Gaming, and My Feed follows them.
• Tabs for Tech, Business, Sports, Science, Entertainment and World.
• One swipe per story. The whole story is on the card, so there are no links to chase.
• A feed that ends. After the day's stories you reach "All caught up", not an endless scroll.
• Save stories for later, and tap "More like this" or "Less" on any story.
• A daily reading streak: read at least one story a day to keep it going.
• Now and then, a quick poll in your feed. Results appear after you vote.
• Discover: browse the six categories and see how many stories each has today.
• Notifications only if you want them: one digest at 8 AM, and breaking news when it truly breaks. Turn them off any time.
• Dark mode.
