Smog Lane: Number Gate Defense

Smog is rolling down the lanes toward your line. Grow, break, then hold.

Smog Lane is a lane defense game you play with one thumb. It takes place in an industrial city at dusk, where a squad of cleaner drones hovers on the near end of a railed road and sprays mist up its lane on its own. Your only job is choosing the lane. Glass filter canisters marked +1, +10 or +40 add drones to your crew when they reach your lane. Steel shutters with an amber number guard the richest lanes until your mist brings them down to zero. Down the middle comes a wide cloud of smog with a smog giant behind it.

The order matters. Grow first, open the shutter, then hold the middle before the cloud reaches you.

Controls and rules:
- Swipe sideways to move one lane, or tap a lane near the bottom edge.
- Your drones spray all the time, straight up the lane they sit in.
- A canister that reaches your lane adds drones; one that passes in another lane is gone.
- Spray a shutter down to zero to release the canisters stacked behind it.
- Smog that gets through your lane costs drones. Smog that slips past in other lanes drains your Air.
- Dissolve the smog giant and clear every cloud to finish the level.

The full game:
- 120 levels from Mill Road out to the Smog Crown, each one closing with a smog giant or a boss
- A named boss every ten levels: Soot Cyclone, Kiln Stack, Soot Barge, Twin Cyclone and the Ash Crown
- Choice levels where one lane is slow and safe and another is rich but locked
- Pump canisters you can spray upward, x2 doublers, spray-rate gates, spread crates and a fourth lane later on
- Smog Front: endless waves that open after level 20, with your longest run saved
- Smog Alert: one special level for each date, with a twist such as a narrow road or a faster march
- A drone hangar with five upgrade lines, 16 drone shells and 8 mist colors to collect
- 40 achievements and a mission board that tops itself up after every claim
- Finish a stretch of the city and the view from your hangar window turns from grey to blue
- Plays with no connection; sound and vibration toggle independently

The numbered canisters and shutters work like number gates on a road you defend instead of run. Nothing in Smog Lane gets hurt: the drones only spray mist, and the smog thins until it is gone.

Coins come from play, missions, the daily supply and optional ads. You spend them on upgrades, shells, mist colors and Air Burst revives. No store sells them. The game shows ads.
