WayTrek is your trekking companion in Vietnam – from route selection, throughout the journey, to your return and sharing your trip. The app is built for mountainous conditions: steep slopes, cold weather, and no signal.

PREPARATION
A library of Vietnamese routes with distances, total climbs, peak elevations, and realistic descriptions.
3D terrain created from elevation data – see ridges and slopes before you even arrive.
Download routes: 2D maps and 3D terrain blocks are fully usable even without signal.

ON THE TREK
Continuous GPS tracking – put your phone in your pocket, lock the screen, and your journey continues. Distance, time, and elevation are displayed on the lock screen.
Route guidance and alerts for deviations.
Highlights along the route: rest stops, water sources, easily lost forks – and you can suggest new points for others.
Take photos with your exact location, even without a network connection.
Encounter an unusual plant? Take a picture and get a species suggestion right in the middle of the forest.

TREKKING TOGETHER
Trekking group: invitation code, trek schedule, and real-time location map of the entire group.
Controlled location sharing - you can turn it on, set a time limit, and turn it off whenever you want.
The group leader can remind the entire group to start tracking with just one touch.

AFTER THE TRIP
3D terrain posters of your recent trip - so you can share them.
Playback of your journey on 3D terrain.
Products, achievement levels, and seasonal leaderboards record each peak you've reached.

OFFLINE-FIRST
Track, photos, and suggestions are all saved to your device and automatically reload when a signal is restored. Losing your internet connection in the forest doesn't affect your progress.

PRIVACY
Location will only be shared with your consent, only with your group, and only during the trek. You can withdraw at any time.
