SpeedTrail: GPS Speed & Tracks

SpeedTrail turns your phone into a GPS speedometer and trip logger. Watch your speed in big numbers, record a trip with one tap and look back at how far and how fast you went.

• Current speed in km/h or mph, with a clear note when GPS is still waiting for a good fix
• Distance, duration, top speed and average speed for every trip
• A speed chart that shows each acceleration and stop
• A trip list of your latest 100 trips, with names you choose and delete with undo
• Mark named waypoints at your latest GPS position while you record, and delete them with undo
• See each trip as a route sketch with its waypoints: a drawing of your path, not a street map
• Export a trip as GPX or KML with its waypoints for mapping and hiking apps, or as CSV with every GPS sample for a spreadsheet
• Recording keeps going with the screen off and stops from the notification
• Works with approximate location too, with rougher distance and speed

SpeedTrail ignores imprecise fixes, standing-still drift and signal gaps. Results still depend on GPS reception and your phone, so treat them as a guide rather than a certified measurement.
