About CPU Throttling Test
Does your phone's CPU performance stay steady under sustained load? CPU Throttling Test runs a consistent synthetic workload so you can see how throughput changes over time, review the result and compare your own tests.
CHOOSE YOUR CPU STRESS TEST
Start with a 2, 5, 10 or 15 minute test. Use one worker or multiple native CPU workers, up to your device's reported capacity and a maximum of 16. Add a note about charging, power saving or other conditions to make later comparisons more useful.
SEE THE PERFORMANCE CURVE
Follow throughput in work blocks per second on a live graph. Review baseline and sustained performance, retained performance, sustained drop, average and robust peak. Tap or drag the result graph to inspect measured samples. Warm-up is marked separately, and partial tests do not receive a complete-test interpretation.
COMPARE YOUR OWN RUNS
Overlay two result curves and review their conditions side by side. Comparison deltas require completed, stable tests with matching method, worker count, duration and ABI. Keep conditions similar to understand changes more clearly.
KEEP USEFUL RESULTS
Find saved tests with search, status filters, sorting and favorites. Rename a result, edit its note or remove it with Undo. Share CSV data or a PNG graph report, and export or import a versioned JSON backup through the system file and sharing tools.
UNDERSTAND THE READINGS
The built-in guide explains the workload, the graph and fair comparisons. Available Android battery and thermal readings add context. Battery temperature is labeled separately from CPU temperature, and unavailable readings stay unknown. Choose Celsius or Fahrenheit and reduce interface motion in Settings.
TEST WITH CONTEXT
CPU stress testing can warm your phone. Stop at any time. The workload ends when you leave the app or turn off the screen. Conservative battery and thermal thresholds can prevent or stop a test; limited sensor availability restricts testing to two minutes. These protections depend on the device and are not a safety certification.
This is the app's own synthetic CPU benchmark. A slowdown alone does not confirm thermal throttling or diagnose faulty hardware. Other apps, scheduling, power saving and charging can affect results. Scores are not equivalent to other benchmark scores or gaming FPS. The app does not cool, repair or accelerate your phone.
