Jigsaw Atelier: Art Puzzles

Jigsaw Atelier turns famous paintings into jigsaw puzzles. Every day there is a new masterpiece to solve, and the museum has 20 themed rooms with more than 400 public-domain artworks from The Met and the Cleveland Museum of Art.

A MASTERPIECE A DAY

REAL 3D PIECES
- Classic jigsaw shapes with light, shade and a soft drop shadow, cut fresh for every puzzle.
- Drag pieces up from the tray: they click into place with a sound and a gentle buzz.
- Filter the tray to edges or middle pieces, sort by color, zoom with two fingers.
- From 16 to 600 pieces, with soft and square-tab cuts and an optional rotation mode.

THE MUSEUM
- 20 themed rooms with more than 400 public-domain masterpieces from The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Cleveland Museum of Art: cats and dogs, horses, gardens, Venice, Japanese woodblock prints, the Impressionists, winter, ships and more. Every picture is checked to make a good puzzle.
- 36 favorites are built in and work offline: Hokusai's Great Wave, van Gogh's Irises, Bruegel's Harvesters, Vermeer, Turner, Earthrise and more.
- Search all of The Met's Open Access collection for any public-domain painting and play it as a puzzle.

DREAM A PUZZLE
- Describe a picture ("a lighthouse on a cliff at sunset") and pick a style: oil painting, impressionist, watercolor, woodblock print, art nouveau or photograph. The AI paints two versions in a few seconds; keep the one you like and play it.
- Three dreams a day. Only your words are sent, after you agree once.
