Soundica FM: Radio and Podcast

Soundica FM brings four kinds of listening into one calm, uncluttered app: the day's news read aloud, podcasts, audiobooks, and music to work or rest to. Open it, press play, and listen.

LISTEN TO THE NEWS
Headlines from a wide roster of publishers, read aloud on your device. Follow along with the words highlighted as they are spoken, so you can listen while walking or read while waiting. Every story shows the publisher it came from, and one tap opens the original article in your browser.

Choose your topics: entertainment, K-pop, anime, technology, finance, and more, with the mix adjusted to the language you are reading in.

PODCASTS
Browse what is charting in your country, explore by category, and play any episode straight from the show. Your position is remembered, so picking up where you left off takes one tap.

AUDIOBOOKS
A library of public domain books, chapter by chapter, from classic novels to essays and poetry. Free to listen to, with no borrowing queue and no expiry.

MUSIC AND SOUND
Classical recordings organized by composer, ambient soundscapes such as rain, ocean and forest, and calm instrumental music for focus, meditation or sleep. Everything is licensed for this use.

YOUR LIBRARY
Build one playlist that mixes every kind of content, bookmark shows, books and recordings to come back to, and find recently played items and recently read articles in one place. It all lives on your device.

NINE LANGUAGES
English, Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, Italian, Hindi, Indonesian and Vietnamese. Pick your language once and the whole app follows, including the voice that reads the news. Books are currently available in English, German, Spanish, French, Italian and Portuguese.

BUILT TO BE EASY
A light, readable design that stays out of the way. Phone and tablet layouts. A mini player that follows you across every tab, so playback never disappears mid listen. Sleep timer and autoplay controls for hands free listening.

PRIVACY
No account. No sign up. No personal data collected. Your playlist, bookmarks and history stay on your device and are never uploaded.

ABOUT THE CONTENT
News articles are summarized and linked back to the publisher that wrote them, and the full story always opens on the publisher's own site. Books, classical recordings and ambient audio are public domain or openly licensed, and every source is credited in the app's license page.
