SoloSquare: Solo Travel Buddy

Good company, anywhere.

SoloSquare helps solo travelers, digital nomads and expats meet in person through small plans. Grab a coffee, share a dinner, join a hike, cowork for an afternoon or have a deep talk with people who are in the same city right now.

FIND PLANS NEAR YOU
• See plans on a map or as a list, where you are or where you're going next
• Filter by date, category and who each plan is for
• Coffee, food, outdoors, culture, nightlife, coworking, wellness, entertainment and deep talks
• Look around before you create an account

JOIN A SMALL GROUP
• See who's hosting and who's going before you join
• Join instantly, or send a request when the host approves guests
• Every plan has its own group chat for the details
• Joining plans is free

HOST YOUR OWN PLAN
• Create a plan in four short steps: what, where, when and who
• Drop an exact map pin; times show in the venue's time zone
• Choose the group size and whether guests join instantly or by approval
• Open it to everyone, or to women, men or LGBTQ+ travelers

CHECK IN TO YOUR CITY
• Let other travelers know you're in town for a day, a week or a month
• Talk in your city's shared room, plus a room for your community
• See who else is checked in to the same city

PROFILES THAT START CONVERSATIONS
• Travel style, languages, interests and countries you've visited
• Your career and your social energy: introvert, ambivert or extrovert
• Meetup history with host-reported show-up rates

AFTER THE PLAN
• Share a short, private recap after each meetup
• Hosts record who came, so reliable members stand out

YOU'RE IN CONTROL
• Report profiles and messages, and block members
• Optional selfie photo check, reviewed by a moderator
• Choose who can see your social links
• Delete your account in the app at any time
