Lantern River: Festival Lights

🏮 Night has fallen and the river is getting ready for the lantern festival! Paper lanterns with candle flames drift with the current while rocks, whirlpools and waterfalls block their way. Tap the water: a ring of ripples spreads from your finger and gently pushes the lanterns. Guide them all to the torii gate at the end of the river and into the festival lights! Lantern River is a calm yet skillful lantern-guiding game on a river glowing in the moonlight.

💧 STEER WITH RIPPLES
• Tap the water and a ring of ripples spreads out; lanterns are pushed away from its center.
• To push a lantern left, tap to its right. A close tap pushes hard, a far one gently.
• Use two fingers to send two ripples at once and handle crowded groups of lanterns.
• A lantern that slams into a rock or the bank tears its paper; two hard hits and it goes out.

⛩️ REACH THE FESTIVAL
• Get 60% of the lanterns to the festival to win; 80% for 2 stars, all of them for 3 stars!
• Lanterns that touch floating lotus flowers and fireflies bring gold.
• At the end of each level the lanterns drift into the bay and fireworks light up the sky.

• Village Creek, Bamboo Forest, Rice Terraces, Old Town Canals, Mountain Rapids, Autumn Gorge, Snowy Temple and Festival Bay.
• A new surprise in every place: fallen bamboo logs, sluice gates that open in turn, stone bridges you can only pass under the arches, curious koi that bump lanterns around, whirlpools, waterfalls with a narrow chute, strong gusts of wind, drifting ice floes and festival boats crossing the river!

🔧 LANTERN WORKSHOP
• Grow stronger with Ripple Power, Ripple Reach, Steady Flame, Quick Ripples and Sturdy Paper.
• River friends: the Koi Guide nudges lanterns away from the bank, the Heron saves a lantern that is about to be lost, the Firefly Swarm mends torn paper and the Turtle makes the first hard hit harmless.
• Collect 8 lantern types: Paper, Lotus, Star, Fish, Crane, Moon, Snowflake and Dragon.

🌙 LANTERN NIGHT
• A brand-new river every night, with a gem reward on your first finish.

🆘 IN TOUGH MOMENTS
• Still Water slows the current for a few seconds and mends every lantern. If the lanterns go out, relight two of them and keep going.
