Offline POS: Cash Register App

Offline POS is a cash register app for small business owners and an offline point of sale app that keeps working when the Wi-Fi doesn't. Ring up sales, scan barcodes with your phone camera, track inventory and keep customer house accounts, all on your Android phone. No internet, no account and no sign-up. Open the app and start selling.

A POS Without Internet
Every screen works in airplane mode. Sales, stock, customer balances and reports are saved in a database on your phone, so a dead hotspot at an outdoor market or a weak signal in the back of the store never stops checkout. Your business data stays on your device.

Fast Checkout
• Tap products from a grid, filtered by category
• Search by name or SKU, or scan a barcode or QR code with the camera, with no separate scanner to buy
• Add a custom item at any price when a product isn't in your catalog
• Discount one item or the whole order (5% to 50% presets or your own %)
• Hold an order and resume it later while you ring up the next customer
• Quick cash buttons for exact change and common bills

Cash, Card, Charge to Account or Split
Take cash, record card payments you run on your own card reader, charge a sale to a customer's account, or split one ticket across several payment methods. Offline POS records payments; it does not process cards.

Digital Receipts
Every sale gets a receipt with a QR code. Tap Share to text or email it from any app on your phone and skip the paper roll.

House Accounts for Regulars
Let regular customers buy now and pay later. House account tracking is built in (in the app it's called Store Credit).
• Open a customer charge account with a phone number and a credit limit
• Charged sales are added to the balance automatically
• Record payments by cash, card or check
• View a full statement with a running balance

Vendors and Purchase Orders
Keep vendor accounts, record vendor bills that add stock, pay vendors and handle returns to vendor.

Inventory With a Barcode Scanner
A POS system with inventory built in, so you don't need a separate inventory app with barcode scanner support:
• Products with SKU, barcode, price, cost and unit
• Stock goes down with every sale and back up with returns and purchases
• Set a reorder level and filter the list to low-stock items
• Organize products into categories
• Choose your costing method: FIFO, weighted average or last purchase cost

Sales Reports and Profit
• Profit and loss: gross sales, discounts, refunds, cost of goods sold, gross profit and margin
• Look up any past receipt by number or customer, and process returns
• Pay in / pay out log for petty cash and expenses
• End-of-shift close with a blind cash drawer count
• Balance sheet view

Your Currency
Uses the dollar sign by default. Switch to another symbol any time, or type your own.

Backup on Your Phone
Create a database backup with one tap. Each backup is checked with a SHA-256 checksum so you know it saved correctly.

Who It's For
A POS app for small business owners who want an offline POS system that simply works. Use it as a POS system for convenience store counters, boutiques, gift shops, coffee carts, farmers market and flea market booths and craft fairs, or as a cash register app for garage sale weekends. It runs on the Android phone you already have, so it doubles as a cashier app with no extra hardware to buy.

Offline POS needs no login and asks for camera access only when you open the barcode scanner.
