Turn a compatible Android phone into a practical dashcam for road and cabin recording.

Choose the rear camera, front camera, or both. Dual-camera recording and live picture-in-picture preview are available on devices that support concurrent cameras; RoadCam uses a supported single-camera mode when dual capture is unavailable.

RoadCam records MP4 video in configurable segments from 1 to 60 minutes. Recording runs through a foreground service, so an active session can continue while the app is in the background or the screen is off. Microphone audio is optional.

Set a RoadCam storage limit from 1 GB to 512 GB, or use All available storage. RoadCam measures its managed recordings and removes the oldest eligible, unprotected completed clips when space is needed. Device free-space safeguards remain active.

Protect the current and previous segment while recording, or protect a saved recording from the library. Protected recordings are excluded from automatic cleanup. Browse recordings with thumbnails, play road or front video, view file details, and manually delete individual recordings or eligible recordings in bulk.

The Home screen shows recording status, segment countdown, managed storage usage, remaining capacity, estimated recording time, and camera or storage warnings.

Free use includes 10 cumulative minutes of finalized recording. The one-time Unlimited Recording entitlement removes that recording-time limit.
