Silk Swing by misli is a pendulum you keep restarting. Tap and hold and a line shoots to the nearest anchor point above you; you swing under it on real pendulum physics; release and you launch off in whatever direction you were travelling at that instant.

Everything good about the misli comes from that release timing. Let go at the bottom of the arc and you go fast and flat, which is great for distance and terrible for reaching the next anchor. Let go on the way up and you trade speed for height. The rhythm you eventually settle into alternates the two, and it feels genuinely athletic once it clicks.

The anchors are the level design. On the rooftops they are close together and forgiving. On the construction site they are cranes and beams with long empty stretches between them, so a badly timed release drops you into a gap with nothing to grab. The neon district puts them high and sparse and runs the camera fast.

Coins line the arcs the designer had in mind, which makes them a hint as much as a reward. Misli distance in metres is the score, and the game over screen shows distance, coins, longest single swing and top speed.

Misli customisation covers the character's suit and the line colour, and settings tune the physics smoothness and store a contact-feedback preference.
