PRIVATE SPACE

A private encrypted area for personal photos, videos, audio, documents and notes stored on your device.

Private Space is opened by tapping the compass dial three times. There is no button or menu entry, so it is not visible to someone glancing at your screen.

• Android file picker integration
• Categories, search, rename and favourites
• Optional secondary PIN space
• Lockout protection
• No cloud backup for Private Space content

Private Space content is designed to remain on the device. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data can permanently remove locally stored content. Keep independent backups of important files.

LIMITED CONNECTIVITY

Many navigation functions can work without an active internet connection, including compass readings, grid references, waypoints, trip recording, true-north calculations and Private Space.

Map tiles and live weather may require an internet connection.

YOUR DATA

No account or sign-in is required. Navigation data such as waypoints, trips and saved references can be stored locally on the device.

Firebase Crashlytics may process diagnostic information to help identify and fix app crashes.

See the Privacy Policy for complete information about data handling, permissions, storage, network services and third-party providers.

COMPASS PRO

Compass Pro is an optional paid upgrade. Depending on the current release, Pro may include:

• Advertising-free experience
• Extended grid-reference features
• Grid overlay and saved references
• Trip recording and export
• Additional map capabilities
• Other Pro navigation features

Pricing and available options are shown inside the app and may vary by region.

Core compass functionality and included compass dial styles remain available without Pro.

SAFETY

Compass and GPS readings can be affected by sensors, environmental conditions, GPS accuracy and magnetic interference. Always cross-check important navigation information with appropriate maps and established safety procedures. Do not rely on a smartphone as your only means of navigation where failure could put you at risk.
