Profiler: Find Local Talent

Profiler is how you find the specific person who does the specific thing you need. Search by skill — not by category — and find independent professionals near you, in beauty, fashion, entertainment and food.

SEARCH THE SKILL, NOT THE CATEGORY

Someone looking for knotless braids is not searching "hair salon." Someone who needs a private chef is not searching "catering company." Someone casting a lookbook is not searching "fashion." Ask Profiler for the thing you actually want and find the people who specialize in exactly that, near you.

Skills people search for on Profiler: silk press, knotless braids, locs, chrome nails, lash extensions, beard trim, fade, microblading, waxing, brow shaping, wardrobe styling, alterations, custom suits, personal shopping, event photography, wedding videography, live music, DJ sets, MC and hosting, private chef, meal prep, custom cakes, grazing tables, bartending.

WHO YOU'LL FIND ON PROFILER

Beauty: barbers, hair stylists, braiders, loc techs, natural hair specialists, nail techs, lash artists, estheticians, makeup artists and waxers.

Fashion: wardrobe stylists, personal shoppers, tailors, seamstresses, designers, models and dressers.

Entertainment: photographers, videographers, DJs, musicians, bands, dancers, hosts, MCs, producers and content creators.

Food: private chefs, personal chefs, caterers, bakers, pastry chefs, bartenders and mixologists.

And the specialties inside each of those that no category page has a name for.

COMPARE BEFORE YOU DECIDE

Put professionals side by side and compare what matters — rate, availability, response time, reliability, rating, and real portfolio work. Decide with information instead of scrolling three Instagram grids and guessing who will actually reply.

JUDGE THE WORK, NOT THE ADVERTISING

Every profile on Profiler is built on finished work, tagged to the skill that produced it. Skills, endorsements and client reviews sit on the same profile. What you see is what you would be getting.

DISCOVER WHO IS NEAR YOU

Browse independent professionals, services and events around you. Filter by skill and location. Save the people worth coming back to.

IF YOU ARE THE PROFESSIONAL

BE FOUND FOR WHAT YOU ACTUALLY DO

List your specialties the way clients name them, not the way a category page names them. A nail tech who does chrome should turn up when a client searches chrome nails. A chef who cooks for eight in a home kitchen should turn up when someone searches that. A videographer who only shoots weddings should turn up for weddings. Being found for your niche is the entire product.

YOUR WORK IS THE PITCH

Build a portfolio, not a feed. Finished work, tagged to the skill that produced it, in front of the client deciding right now.

KEEP THE SYSTEM YOU ALREADY HAVE

Profiler is not trying to replace what you already run. Already on Acuity, Square or your own website? Turn on discovery-only mode. Clients discover you on Profiler and go where you already work. Nothing to migrate and nothing to relearn.

OR TAKE APPOINTMENTS HERE IF YOU WOULD RATHER

No system yet? Set your services, prices and hours, take appointments and payments through Stripe, and track your earnings. This is optional and off by default.

EVENTS, POP-UPS AND CLASSES

Running a pop-up, teaching a class, or working a booth at a show? Create the event, sell tickets inside the app, check people in with a QR code, and review how it performed.

WHAT IT COSTS

Downloading Profiler is free. Building a profile is free. Being found is free. If you choose to take payments in the app, Stripe processes them and Profiler takes a percentage of that transaction. Nothing is charged before then. There are no subscriptions and no in-app purchases.

Profiler is early. The professionals on it are real and the work on their profiles is their own.
